We met for book club this morning at 9:00 a.m. at Le Peep...we had so much fun chatting about everything BUT books for a while, then turned our attention to our favorites and ones we are looking forward to reading. Ann Fleshman and I were a bit groggy this morning as we worked at the Pastor's newcomer dinner last night, which lasted from around 2:30 to 9:30 p.m....that's just prepwork for the actual dinner whereas cakes, desserts and other menu items were prepared ahead of time...not to mention the hours Ann put in preparing everything for set up. It is a great ministry and I'm thankful to get to participate in serving new people so they feel like SV is a home where friendships and sharing happen!
